AirPods Pro review

  • Very comfortable, though with the in-ear design it’s slightly harder to get them seated right (but I had pretty much perfect ears for the old style, so others may see it as an improvement), and the noise cancelling is solid
  • Transparency mode is ridiculously good, and it automatically switches to that when you’re just using one so you don’t have one blocked up ear
  • Announce messages seemed like a gimmick until I was busy on my computer and Siri read my incoming texts unobtrusively
  • The case looks bigger, but the just turned it on its side and stretched it a little, so it totally still fits in that 5th pocked on jeans
  • Also enjoying improvements from Gen 2, since I’m coming from G1- Hey Siri and wireless charging are handy to have
  • If you’re in the market for some new ANC headphones these are solid, but if you’ve got a good pair or are already using AirPods 2 then they’re a little harder to justify

Blizzard president J Allen Brack took a moment before the Blizzcon opening ceremonies to apologize for their punishment of professional Hearthstone player Blitzchung’s public support of Hong Kong’s protests

  • In the toothless statement he went on to say though that “Blizzard had the opportunity to bring the world together in a tough Hearthstone esports moment”
  • A few problems here:
    • It wasn’t a “tough Hearthstone esports moment”
    • He passed up another opportunity to “bring the world together” by saying anything at all in support of Hong Kong
    • He said nothing about the groveling they did to China on social media after the fact
    • And they still punished not only Blitzchung but also the commentators that were interviewing him

Overwatch 2 was announced, as expected, and we’ve got all the details

  • So it looks like this is kind of a pseudo-sequel; they’re releasing an updated game UI with revamped/remastered graphics and gameplay, along with multiple new heroes, maps, and a game mode, all for free for existing Overwatch players.
    • The new Push game mode, coming to quick play and competitive, has the two teams competing over a neutral payload that gets pushed in either direction based on who controls it
    • There will be four new maps: Toronto, Gothenburg, Monte Carlo, and Rio De Janerio
    • We also got a sneak peak at a couple of the upcoming heroes- Sojourn, the first Canadian OW hero that uses a cool gun that looks like a covenant sniper rifle, and Echo, an omnic that’s been teased in the base game for a while now
    • All skins, cosmetics, and other progress will carry over seamlessly
  • Where Overwatch 2 itself comes in to play is a new look for all heroes, a new co-op story mode and hero missions, and new hero talents for the PVE modes
    • The new modes seem to be permanent co-op modes like Halloween Terror or the Archives missions
    • Hero talents will have you levelling up and customizing hero abilities and ultimates to suit your playstyle
  • One nice thing with the new stuff coming is they can grow the canon inside of the game itself- right now we get lore dumps online but it has no real impact in-game
    • Overwatch re-forming and characters meeting or reuniting will have actual impact, instead of the current PVP grab-bag of characters having amusing interactions inside the dropship
  • If you want all of that stuff, you’ll have to buy the new… expansion, I guess? Plug-in? when it comes out at some point in the future for some currently undisclosed price
  • All in all it looks like they’re doing a fair amount to breath new life into the 3.5 year old shooter, though you’ll end up buying it again to see everything they have to offer

Tidbits

  • Real-time multiplayer is coming to Mario Kart Tour, but for now it will be limited to a beta offering only for Gold Pass subscribers
    • There aren’t any details on if it will require a subscription once it’s fully released, but if it does I can see it being a pretty sparse game with the subscription price costing more than their main console offering, Nintendo Switch Online
  • Sony’s PS4 is officially the second best selling console of all time, with about 2/3rds of the sales of the PS2
    • It’s doubtful that it’ll ever be number 1 though, as even though Sony says they’ll support it until at least 2021 the PS5 is expected to hit in 2020’s holiday season
  • DeepMind’s AlphaStar AI has officially hit Grandmaster status in Starcraft II, beating 99.8% of ranked human players with all three races, and I for one welcome our new robot overlords
  • Rudy Giuliani, one month after being named Trump’s cybersecurity advisor, apparently had to go to an Apple Store to wipe and restore his iPhone after getting it locked down from 10 unsuccessful passcode attempts
    • Many experts criticized the move, saying that there’s too much risk of employees gaining access to sensitive government information on the phone or in his iCloud backups
  • I don’t know how I missed this, but ghostwriter is getting rebooted on Apple TV+!
    • 90’s kids might remember the series running from 92 to 95 on PBS

Pixel 4 is looking amazing

  • The front bezel is loaded with features
    • It is already moving away from the Pixel 3 notch, this seems to emulate the iPhone X design
  • And it contains
    • Front unlock IR camera
    • Front facing camera
      • The dual front facing cameras with one having a wide angle is missing from the Pixel 3
    • Ambient light/proximity sensor
    • Speaker
    • Soli Radar chip
    • Face unlock dot projector
    • Face unlock IR camera
    • Face unlock Flood Illuminator
  • Some of these, like the dot projector, are going to yield similar results to the iPhone X with face id
    • the addition of the radar chip makes gestures which do not contact the phone at all, possible
    • One piece of media Google has released has a person skipping songs by waving past the phone.
  • I have not seen anything on the outer facing cameras
    • But with Google’s history of photo quality in the last Pixel models, I’m sure it will have amazing results.

Japan successfully tests flying car which hovers steadily for a minute

  • Star Wars fans have cheerfully pointed out it looks a LAAT Gunship
  • Two brief demonstrations took place inside a giant cage and those watching were told to wear helmets as a precaution.
  • The Japanese government aims to have people using flying cars by the 2030s and has backed the construction of a huge test course in an area devastated by the 2011 tsunami and nuclear disasters in Fukushima.
    • There are also hopes to use flying cars to connect islands in the Mie resort area, which is frequented by Hollywood celebrities.
    • Japan wants to become a world leader in the sector but could find itself competing with Dubai, which is also aggressively pursuing the technology.
  • There are still huge hurdles to overcome before flying cars can become common
    • battery life, the need for regulations and safety concerns.
  • Flying cars, often called EVtol
    • electric vertical take-off and landing aircraft
    • defined as aircraft which are electric, or hybrid electric, with driverless capabilities and the ability to take off and land vertically.
  • The new vehicles aim to be better than helicopters, which are expensive to maintain, noisy to fly and require trained pilots.
  • A flying car by Japanese startup Cartivator proved unsuccessful after it crashed during a demonstration in 2017
    • Company bosses say they have since developed their technology so their machines can last longer.
    • NEC is one of more than 80 companies sponsoring Cartivator’s flying car.
  • Officials say the machine is designed for unmanned flights for deliveries
    • but flying cars could also be used in disaster relief operations.
  • Uber is also launching its own version of the technology
    • Called Uber Air in the US and plans to start demonstrator flights in 2020 and commercial operations in 2023.

GTA online adds actual gambling

  • In an age where countries are banning lootboxes for being a form of gambling
    • Rockstar is adding an actual casino to their game
  • The Diamond Casino features
    • Roulette
    • Blackjack
    • Three card poker
    • Slot machines
    • There is also horse races, but you can’t watch the 3D horses race eachother
  • They also have the Lucky Wheel
    • Which is spun once a day for free
    • Offers in-game prizes of cash and even cars for your character
  • You can only gamble with the casinos tokens
    • Which are 1 to 1 for in-game cash to chips
    • Standard members can buy 20k a day
    • VIP can buy 50k a day

Games Workshop and Bandai team up

  • They are making a 7 inch Space Marine Primaris action figure
    • Prototypes shown so far are the classic, unpainted mini grey
      • But an industry insider claims they will be highly posable figures and pre-painted.
      • Similar to other licensed releases Bandai has done.
    • Have not seen sprues or packaging, so it is not clear if it is a model kit or not yet

Review Enter The Anime

  • Alex Burunova is tasked by Netflix to see what the essence of anime is
  • It covers a bunch of anime creators and shows
  • interesting behind the scenes looks
  • Unfortunately, it has too many edits with glitch effects and crazy angle changes that made it too busy
    • Seems like it was made for people who don’t like documentaries

Tid Bits

  • No Man’s Sky is getting another update! August 14th you’ll get your chance to ride some of the incredibly randomly generated creatures.
  • The Reon Pocket, is an air-conditioner that you wear. Retailing for about $170 CAD, it fits in a pocket on their special undershirt, these cost about $20 CAD. And its something I may need to survive future summers.
  • Blizzard launches the “Classic Connections 2004 to 2006” forum. For players of World of Warcraft back then to reconnect in anticipation of World Of Warcraft Classic coming out August 27th
  • Brawlhala, is having a WWE crossover event. Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson, John Cena, Raw Women’s Champion Becky Lynch, and Xavier Woods have joined Brawlhalla as Epic Crossovers in a special SummerSlam themed in-game event starting August 8th.

      • Rebel Galaxy is a game of action-packed combat, exploration, discovery, trade, and “negotiation” with the outlandish denizens at the edge of the known universe.
      • You’ll battle pirates, explore anomalies, befriend aliens, scavenge battle wreckage, mine asteroids, and discover artifacts. Choose your path as a roguish do-gooder, crafty space-trader or power-hungry privateer in this swashbuckling space adventure.
  • Microsoft

    • Earth Defence Force 2017 (Xbox One and Xbox 360)

      • June 16th to 30th
      • I did a whole History of Gaming about this franchise, and this is the one that got me into it!
      • Listen to PS2J 238 if your not convinced to get it as soon as possible.

Cyberpunk 2077 goes full inclusive

  • The game will revolve around the player character named V.
    • You can fully customize the appearance, gender and abilities
    • There are three default classes
      • You start the game as a NetRunner, which is hacking focused
      • The Techie uses technology to their advantage
      • and the Solo, who are combat experts
  • Some highlights from an interview on the Metro with Pawet Sasko, the lead of the quest team:
    • About 450 people are working on the game
    • Most of the team have worked together through The Witcher 2 and 3
    • With the experience on The Witcher, the team is confident with the questing
      • You won’t be getting “Go there and kill person” missions
      • The world building will be extensive for those who want to dive in
      • And conversations can be “To the point” for players that want more action
    • For the Player Classes
      • The classes are intended to be fluid
      • You can mix and match skills from Techie, Solo and NetRunner
      • Dialogue options will have different options based on your proficiencies
      • Care is takes for all customizations, cyberware, skills and attributes to affect your gameplay experience with NPCs and the rest of the world
      • Almost like the game is a Game Master in a tabletop RPG and is going with the flow, rather than a rigid pre-planned campaign
    • Keanu Reeves will have the second most amount of dialogue in CyberPunk 2077, next to the main character.
      • He is a character named Johnny Silver-hand
        • This character is an important figure in the original tabletop-RPG CyberPunk 2013 from 1988
      • Johnny is not alive at this time, but exists in the characters mind as a Cyber Ghost
        • And my guest, is that it is a personality imprint made into an AI that would act a lot like the real Johnny
    • Unlike the original RPG:
      • There is no humanity meter, where adding more components to your body has your empathy reduced
        • And it can be reduced so far in the TTRPG, you hand your player sheet to the Game Master, because you are now a NPC!
      • The entire body of the player character will be essentially an inventory for you to manage
    • Your characters sexuality exists, because it exists in people
      • You can have a masculine or feminine appearance
        • And the options are not binary, its all on a sliding scale
      • Match either appearance with a feminine or masculine voice
      • You can also romance however you feel is appropriate
    • Best part of it yet, the development team is working hard, but not overworked
      • They have had huge amounts in progress in the last year
      • And are on schedule without needing to overwork the team
  • A bonus note after I got these sorted, you can call your car and have it appear like Roach in The Witcher

Japan will be turning traffic signals into 5G wireless relay devices

  • With the faster internet speed, comes a much lower range
    • Since low wave lengths travel further, but have less ability with transmitting information, think AM radio
    • And high wave lengths have much more information, but cannot go as far or through objects as well, like FM radio
  • With the new tech, and not many tower to start off with
    • The Japanese government will allow 208 thousand traffic signals to set up new 5G equipment
    • Expecting to be completed by the end of March 2026
  • 5G can receive data 100 times faster than current 4G networks
    • An example of what to expect, a 2 hour film can be downloaded in 3 seconds
  • Japan is hoping to take the lead in 5G ahead of China and the United States
    • Four mobile phone carriers have said they will not use equipment made by the two largest Chinese tech companies
      • Such as Huawei and ZTE Corp.

Missouri to legalize Jedi Funerals

  • A bill called the Jedi Disposal Act may make Missouri the first state to allow outdoor cremations
  • The bill would allow licensed funeral directors to organize outdoor cremations at licensed crematoriums or private sites that have permits
    • It of course references the cremations Jedi have had for their dead
    • Like the ceremonies for Qui-Gon Jinn in Phantom Menace
    • Or for Anakin Skywalker at the end of Return of the Jedi
  • The bill passed with nearly unanimous consent in this year’s legislative session and is awaiting Gov. Mike Parson’s decision on whether to sign it.
    • Sen. Jason Holsman, said he proposed the measure in part because outdoor cremations have been performed “since the dawn of man.”
    • “This is the way that our ancestors took care of their remains,” “The Native Americans did it in trees. The Vikings did it in boats. Outdoor cremation has been around many cultures forever.”
    • Holsman’s northern Germanic and Viking ancestry is what sparked his interest in these outdoor ceremonies
  • The only place in the country where public outdoor cremations are legal is the small Colorado town of Crestone, about 260 kilometers or 160 miles southwest of Denver.
    • The Crestone End of Life Project (CEOLP), a not-for-profit organization, receives state permits to organize ceremonies for people who live or own land in surrounding Saguache (Sa-watch) County.
    • Stephanie Gaines the founding director of CEOLP, has said:
      • CEOLP said it has organized about 65 outdoor cremations during the last 12 years. Some ceremonies attract as many as 300 people in a town with a population of only 143
      • “It’s part of the fabric of our community,” “The cremation is the frosting on the cake. For us, it’s about community support in a transitional time from end of life, terminal end of life, through supporting the family and the individual after death.”
  • Don Otto, executive director of the Missouri Funeral Directors and Embalmers, said that funeral directors initially resisted the proposal out of fear people would host impromptu bonfires of deceased loved ones in their backyards
    • They dropped their opposition when health and safety requirements were added to the bill.
    • Otto said he expects the state board to enact more detailed rules for how licenses will be granted.

Canadian Netflix Rant

We have the Canadian Radio-television and Telecommunications Commission (CRTC) requirements, derived from the Broadcasting Act of Canada, that radio and television broadcasters (including cable and satellite specialty channels) must air a certain percentage of content that was at least partly written, produced, presented, or otherwise contributed to by persons from Canada. It also refers to that content itself, and, more generally, to cultural and creative content that is Canadian in nature.
  • This greatly limits the content we get to access.
  • Most Canadians assume that when a YouTube video says “This content is not available in your country” it is most likely this broadcasting act.
    • But it also can be the uploader, but we can’t can’t tell when that is the case.
Wreck it Ralph 2
  • French video with full English dub
  • Other examples are:
    • Cars 2
    • Incredibles 2
    • Coco
  • My guess is it’s a deal with Disney content being on Netflix

Tid Bits

  • Animal Crossing: New Horizons will not have cloud saves
    • Also, Mr. Resetti has lost his job to autosaving.
  • Its been 2 years since the Minecraft Super Duper Texture Pack has been announced, no further details.
  • From r/Today I Learned: Clone High, the animated tv series about the clones of famous historical figures going to high school, was cancelled due to its portrayal of Ghandi as a loose party animal, causing great controversy in India. It began hunger strikes and even a national protest where MPs got involved.

Josh recommends Aggretsuko Season 2

  • Great to see more of the cute and brutal Hello Kittyaesthetic
  • Interesting to see the Japanese work ethic
  • Addresses real problems I have even been experiencing
    • The struggle of younger Millennials entering the workplace and not having the coping and communication skills that are expected from older generations
    • Dating as an adult and having different expectations for your relationship than your partner

Free Games

  • Epic Games
    • Transistor
      • 2014
      • From the creators of Bastion and Hades, it’s an isometric sci-fi themed action RPG that has you running through a stunning futuristic city wielding an extraordinary weapon of unknown origin
  • Ubisoft
    • In light of the fire at the Notre Dame de Paris, which caused its roof and 300 foot spire to collapse, destroying almost all of one of the oldest surviving timber frames in Paris, Ubisoft is giving away Assassin’s Creed Unity (which heavily features the landmark) on PC this week until April 25th to give more people a chance to experience it and raise awareness
    • They’ve also announced a 500K Euro donation to aid the restoration and reconstruction, and encourage others to contribute if possible
    • Assassin’s Creed Unity
      • 2014
      • Action-adventure game set in Paris during the French Revolution, using the classic third person open world we’ve come to expect but also revamping combat, parkour, and stealth after the previous entry, Black Flag

You might recall us talking about Facebook earlier this month, and how to confirm your email they expect you to hand over your email account’s password

  • Turns out, giving access to your personal information to a company in the business of selling your personal information was a bad idea- who knew?
  • According to Business Insider, Facebook harvested 1.5M people’s email contacts list without consent, and “unintentionally uploaded them”
  • A Facebook spokesperson has also confirmed that the harvested contacts were NOT just used to recommend friends, but also “improve ads”
  • This has gotten to the point where the Irish Data Protection Commission is now in contact with Facebook and considering next steps

Smash Ultimate v3.0 is here!

  • First up we’re finally seeing Joker from Persona 5 added to the roster as part of Challenger Pack 1, and his playstyle looks pretty interesting
    • He’s got some moves with a knife and gun, and it looks like he has a charge gauge that allows him to summon his Persona, which upgrades his attacks, greatly improves his recovery, and gives him a combination counter and reflect move
    • His final smash is also interesting- it triggers similarly to Marth’s, with a horizontal rush, but a quick press of the thumbstick makes him sweep back in the other direction in case you missed the first time
  • And speaking of Persona, we’re getting a Persona stage called Mementos with 11 different audio tracks that can affect the appearance of the stage and Joker’s victory screen
  • We’re also seeing new paid DLC Mii costumes for Morgana, Yu, Makoto, Teddie, Tails, and Knuckles
  • The stage builder we saw leaked in an ad last week made an official appearance, but if it supports 8 player stages they’re keeping it on the down-low
    • It does have new things like customizable moving or spinning platforms and multiple layers for decorative elements
  • They’re also adding in the ability to edit and share videos, download other players’ Mii setups, and adding Smash World on the Switch Online app for voice chat, browsing videos and custom stages, and managing your spirit teams

Disney has revealed some of the details on their upcoming Disney+ service, and it sounds pretty dang decent

  • Disney+ will launch in the US on November 12 for $7/month
  • It’ll include a huge library of old movies and shows, including Marvel, Pixar, and Star Wars titles, along with new content made exclusively for the service
  • There won’t be any ads (which really should be a no-brainer on a paid service) and users can download things to watch offline whenever they want
  • All said and done, this could offer Netflix the kick in the pants we need to stop them from continuing to raise their prices

Samsung’s Galaxy Fold is hit reviewers this week, and it’s not looking good

  • Multiple reviewers are having the devices break after just a few days of use
  • The Verge had theirs sprout a random bulge on the display, possibly due to some debris getting into the hinge, but whatever it was pressed into the display hard enough to break it
  • CNBC’s screen started flickering and failing after the first day
  • And Bloomberg’s started showing similar screen issues after two days
  • All told, it’s a rough start for the $2K device. This is really a prototype, but somehow they’re going forward with preorders

Labo VR is getting some tough reviews online, citing tiny experiences and terrible screen resolution

  • It also only tracks rotation, not movement, which is pretty standard for a cardboard headset but a tougher proposition in 2019
  • You also have to keep one hand on the headset holding it to your face the entire time, which gets tricky when playing mini games like putting, playing basketball, or throwing a boomerang
  • And it doesn’t help that Nintendo continually breaks immersion with not only how short the playtimes are on their bundled game, but also prompts to take a break every five minutes
  • End of the day, if you already have a switch and you’re curious about VR, then this is maybe a good idea… but it seems like there are also better options available

Tidbits

  • The first trailer for Star Wars Jedi: Fallen Order has hit, and it looks solid!
    • I mean, it’s still coming from EA so be wary, but if they finish it we could finally see a good Star Wars game for the current gen of consoles
    • Releasing on November 15th
  • Speaking of Star Wars and trailers, the new Episode IX trailer looks solid!
    • It’s called The Rise of Skywalker, and the tagline is “This Christmas, the saga comes to an end”
  • The new all-digital edition of the Xbox One S is coming this May, and it’s kind of disappointing
    • It’s basically the existing S with no disc slot, and it’ll sell for about as much as retailers are already selling the S in game bundles (though Microsoft is trying to keep it $50 cheaper than the disc-spinning alternative)
  • In a cool earth-friendly move, Japan is making their medals for the 2020 olympics out of discarded smartphones and laptops
    • The requisite gold, silver, and bronze will be extracted from around 50,000 tons of recovered or donated e-waste and obsolete gadgets
    • For perspective, it takes about 100 fliphones to recover three grams of gold

Recommend Buffy the Vampire Slayer

  • I’m very late to the party, but I’m really enjoying it
  • Half delightfully 90’s high school life, half Supernatural-style monster of the week (though, I suppose Supernatural is really Buffy-style monster of the week really)
  • It looks like a series that people had a lot of fun making

A Japanese voice actor’s arrest is making waves in the games industry, with some surprisingly large-scale effects

  • Actor and musician Pierre Taki was arrested for cocaine use, testing positive on a drug test administered by police If found guilty he could be facing up to seven years in prison, and apparently in Japan it’s common that artists arrested for drug-related crimes are completely scrubbed from creative works
  • It’s a bit of a culture-shock, but it seems like they’re concerned about their IP being associated with that behaviour If that was a thing in North America, we’d have a lot less media Sega has suspended sales of the Yakuza spinoff Judgement, which had Taki providing the voice and facial capture for Kyohei Hamura. Hamura is apparently heavily involved with the player throughout the game
  • It’s been pulled from digital stores and physical shipments have been halted
  • Taki also voiced the Olaf from Frozen in Kingdom Hearts 3, and according to a press release Square Enix will be removing his work from that title and pushing an update with a new dub

YouTube fought back against trolls by tweaking its search algorithm to tag Brie Larson as a news-worthy search term

  • Previously looking her up on YouTube would show a bunch of angry rants and calls for a boycott of Captain Marvel (which, spoiler, definitely didn’t work)This week they recategorized “Brie Larson” as news, which forces more reliable sources like Entertainment Tonight, ABC, CNN, and other news outlets to the top of the results
  • We originally saw these tools rolled out in October 2017, after search results were favouring conspiracy videos over the actual news of a mass shooting in Las Vegas
  • So it looks like YouTube has the tools to prioritize higher-quality videos- do you think it’s something they should roll out more widely? Or do you think the potential harm to small creators is too much of a risk?

Halo: Master Chief Collection is coming to PC, and bringing Reach along with it

  • It’s going to feature full mouse/keyboard support, 4K resolutions, and an HDR toggle, but no word on things like ultra-wide monitors or higher frame rates
  • Arriving “later this year” according to the official Waypoint site, and will be available via Steam or Windows Store, but with a twist
  • Each game will be released one at a time, rather than all six at once, because they want to make sure they get each port right and give players a chance to jump in as soon as possible
  • Interestingly, the release order is going by the in-game continuity: Reach, then CE, 2, 3, ODST, and 4
  • People who own the collection on Xbox One will get some Reach content for free, but the campaign and firefight modes will be a paid add-on

Overwatch’s latest hero, the combat medic Baptiste, is hitting the game next week

  • He’s a former member of the Caribbean Coalition military group and Talon, and features:
    • A submachine gun that launches healing biotic grenades a heal-over-time called Regenerative Burst
    • An Immortality Field that prevents allies in its range from going below 40hp
    • His ultimate, Amplification Matrix, that doubles ally damage and healing
  • I’m looking forward to seeing how he meshes into the OWL meta, though as a support he might just get combined into the existing 3/3 strategy – Alan

Internet turns 30! Original Article Here

  • The world wide web was invented by Sir Tim Berners-Lee in 1989 – originally he was trying to find a new way for scientists to easily share the data from their experiments. Hypertext (text displayed on a computer display that links to other text the reader can immediately access) and the internet already existed, but no one had thought of a way to use the internet to link one document directly to another.
  • Berners-Lee created the world wide web while he was working at CERN, the European Organization for Nuclear Research in Switzerland. His vision soon went beyond a network for scientists to share information, in that he wanted it to be a universal and free ‘information space’ to share knowledge, to communicate, and to collaborate.
  • There are three main ingredients that make up the world wide web. URL (uniform resource locator), which is the addressing scheme to find a document; HTTP (hypertext transfer protocol), which connects computers together; and HTML (hypertext markup language), which formats pages containing hypertext links.
  • Berners-Lee also made the world’s first web browser and web server. During the 1990s the amount of web browsers being produced rapidly multiplied and a whole load more web-based technologies started sprouting up.
  • The world wide web opened up the internet to everyone, not just scientists. It connected the world in a way that made it much easier for people to get information, share, and communicate. It has since allowed people to share their work and thoughts through social networking sites, blogs, video sharing, and more.

Tidbits

  • Beat Saber has officially sold more than 1M copies, just in time for the first DLC song pack to release
  • The Monstercat Music pack adds 10 songs to the game for $13USD, $17.50CAD
  • They’ve also said that they’ll continue to regularly add free songs as well, like One Hope and Pop/Stars
  • Apple has announced their next event titled “It’s show time.”, scheduled for March 25th
  • They’ll likely be talking about their upcoming Apple News and streaming TV services, as well as the next iOS version, but I’m more hoping for hardware- specifically AirPods 2 and potentially AirPower

Recommend Captain Marvel

  • Fantastic movie, great acting, and a solid turn part way through It’s an origin story that acts as a crucible, bringing out Captain Marvel’s true power and motivation by the end of it. And when I say power I don’t mean photon blasts
  • I’m normally a big Iron Man fan, but she might be my new favourite character
  • I loved seeing how the beginning of things came together right before we see the Endgame

Literally Misleading

Without any original songs, thier band covers others artists work and become the number one rock band in the world. (Video Game)
